Route, Distances and Suggested Night Plan
The route uses one night in Delhi, one in Agra, two in Ranthambore and one in Jaipur. Delhi to Agra is approximately 230 km, Agra to Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri around 260–290 km depending on the route, and Ranthambore to Jaipur about 180 km. Actual time depends on traffic, road conditions, meal breaks and hotel location. This is an active schedule; families and senior guests may prefer extending it by one or two nights.
Detailed Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi Arrival and Sightseeing
Meet your driver at Delhi airport, station or hotel. Based on arrival time, visit India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple or the Red Fort area. Trying to cover every attraction on arrival day can be tiring, so select stops that suit the flight schedule. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, drive to Agra by expressway. Check in and visit Agra Fort, a major Mughal complex with palaces, audience halls and river views. Schedule the Taj Mahal according to season and daylight; sunrise may instead be planned the next morning. If time remains, visit Mehtab Bagh or the lesser-known Chini ka Rauza. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri
Visit the Taj Mahal early if it was not covered on Day 2; it is normally closed to general visitors on Fridays. Continue to Fatehpur Sikri to explore its red-sandstone courtyards, Diwan-i-Khas and monumental gateways. Proceed towards Ranthambore with planned meal and refreshment breaks. Check in at the resort and rest. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 4: Ranthambore Wildlife Safari
Report for a pre-booked morning safari with the required identification. A gypsy or canter, route and zone are allocated according to permit conditions and availability. The landscape supports birds and diverse wildlife, but tiger or leopard sightings cannot be guaranteed. Relax after breakfast; an optional afternoon safari may be booked separately. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 5: Ranthambore to Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. Check in and begin with Jal Mahal viewpoint, Hawa Mahal façade or an old-city market depending on arrival time. Avoid fitting Amber Fort late into the day if daylight is limited; the main sightseeing is scheduled next morning. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur Sightseeing and Departure
Start early at Amber Fort, then visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Add Gaitore ki Chhatriyan, Birla Mandir or a craft stop if departure timing allows. Your driver will drop you at Jaipur airport, railway station or the agreed Jaipur address. A Delhi return can be added as an extra transfer or an additional night.

Best pace and season
October to March is generally comfortable for city sightseeing. Safari schedules and park access remain subject to authority rules, seasons and conditions.
